| Duties: | Integrity Applications Incorporated (IAI) is seeking an experienced System Administration professional to join our Chantilly, Virginia team. The Senior System Administrator will work as part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of IT support. Duties include, but are not limited to: · Engineer IT solutions to meet customer and project requirements. · Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and perform testing activities on various computer equipment, peripherals, data communication, and computer network systems; · Assemble, install, configure and test computer equipment; · Develop and maintain software and hardware inventory and tracking systems; · Maintain and update documentation, procedures and user manuals; · Monitor system use, performance, device capacities and status; · Recommend and implement system security management measures; · Recommend and implement approved modifications to hardware and software configurations; · Respond to and resolve trouble tickets and calls using a high level of problem solving, follow-up and customer service skills; and, · Identify user needs, resolving computer issues and provide appropriate user training. A Senior System Administrator will assume duties of corresponding scope and responsibility. This position reports to the Manager of Information Technology. |
| Qualifications: | Degree in Computer Science, Engineering Technology or related field or equivalent combination of work experience and education. Five years related experience to include technical analysis, systems programming, computer service/repair. Additional relevant work experience and/or education will determine if the candidate is offered a Senior-level position. Knowledge of computer network products as demonstrated by work experience or education. Knowledge of UNIX, Linux or Microsoft Windows operating systems to include planning, designing, implementing, operating and administering at root level. Knowledge of evolving technologies related to systems management, development, operations, and maintenance. Experience with compiled and scripted programming languages. Strong communication abilities as demonstrated by work experience. Demonstrated ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as situations change. Proven ability to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Demonstrated initiative to learn new skills or expand job roles. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to follow-up and follow-through. Self-starter with demonstrated initiative. Ability to organize time, manage diverse activities and meet deadlines. Ability to move or relocate computer equipment and the ability to lift 30+ pounds Preferred Qualifications TS/SCI access. Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering Technology or related field or equivalent combination of work experience and education. Familiarity with AIS security requirements for DSS, NRO, CIA, NGA and NSA. ISSO experience. Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory experience. Experience in MAC system administration. Familiarity Avaya IPOffice Computerized Telephone System. Database management skills with ability to produce reports. Security Requirements: US Citizenship. TS/SCI required.
