Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Engineer IT solutions to meet customer and project requirements.
· Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and perform testing activities on various computer equipment, peripherals, data communication, and computer network systems;
· Assemble, install, configure and test computer equipment;
· Develop and maintain software and hardware inventory and tracking systems;
· Maintain and update documentation, procedures and user manuals;
· Monitor system use, performance, device capacities and status;
· Recommend and implement system security management measures;
· Recommend and implement approved modifications to hardware and software configurations;
· Respond to and resolve trouble tickets and calls using a high level of problem solving, follow-up and customer service skills; and,
· Identify user needs, resolving computer issues and provide appropriate user training.
A System Administrator will assume duties of corresponding scope and responsibility. This position reports to the Manager of Information Technology.
